a writer’s group

From Script to Screen, a Writers Dream

Welcome Home May 1, 2008

Welcome to your writers place. This is a blog page where blogs and comments are left by fellow writers and friends to give advice, share resources and information, plus socialize.

Writers must have an outlet. If you are a freelance writer and you work at home all day you may start to wonder if you actually exist. Having a blog helps stay connected to people.

A writers group is important for every writer to have in order to advance in his/her career, to associate with other writers and also to share projects and get professional feedback.

We have our weekly writer’s group meeting every Tuesday night in West Hollywood. All serious writers are welcome to join in and share.

If you are part of this writers group, I would like for you to become an author and blogger on this page

Please contact Lauren Niggl @ lniggl@yahoo.com to join the mailing and blog list and meeting space for writers group.

Happy writing.

  1. Niggly bear, how do you manage to set all this stuff up? I’m like a decade behind you in computer savy. So what’s this writing shenangins all about? you’re gonna run them like workshops? so people need to bring multiple copies of their work so that other people can take them home, read em, make comments, and talk about them in the next meeting? is everybody bringing scripts? (i no know no thing about these scripts beesness). whatever.
It’s Wednesday, so I don’t know if I missed your first meeting, but I wanna come out and see this thing. Plus, I’ve got a homegirl from Holland coming out this summer. maybe i’ll drag her down too. (She wants to see how we live – and do LA proper) can’t let the dutchies down, right?
and can’t wait to see you.
    (can everyone see this?)
Lord, i’m not the quickest kid in the strawberry patch, am i?

This sure is mind boggling. But, ‘we’ are getting there. Even though quite perplexing, I must admit it’s quite fun.
